Charlie (they/them) is a transgender genderfluid general psychologist living and working Naarm, Australia (also known as Melbourne). Charlie earned a Master of Applied Psychology (Community) from Victoria University.
Charlie's commitment to social justice informs their practice, as they incorporate feminist, queer, and decolonial theories into their work. They adopt a collaborative, client-focused approach to psychological interventions, recognizing the importance of social determinants in helping clients thrive. Primarily, Charlie employs Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies in their collaborative efforts with clients. Charlie has lived experience with queerness and polyamory and strives to be affirming of individual differences in all aspects of their work.
Charlie is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
